ABOUT CIO TECH DAY 2026
Driving Digital Leadership and
Delivering African Impact
A platform bringing together executive decision-makers, applied research and academic insight to shape Africa’s intelligent enterprises.
WHY CIO TECH DAY
From Technology Decisions
to Enterprise Outcomes
Developing the leadership needed to understand innovation, govern it responsibly and apply it where it matters.
Technology leadership now sits at the centre of business strategy.
CIOs are increasingly responsible for decisions relating to artificial intelligence, data, automation, cybersecurity, digital infrastructure and enterprise resilience. These decisions are strategic, financial and organisational, with implications that extend across the enterprise.
CIO Tech Day 2026 brings executive decision-makers, applied research capability, academic insight and real enterprise demand into one conversation. It creates a space to translate technology leadership, executive education and research into tangible enterprise outcomes.
Under the theme Leading South Africa’s Intelligent Enterprise, the platform explores how informed leadership and responsible innovation can help organisations address the challenges facing business and society.
